Can’t access the video, but I sure do agree, ‘the real leader needs to speak out’.
Kenyan leaders are really out of touch with their own people. Imagine holding a harambee expecting to raise funds from the people who are themselves victims. It gets worse when civil servants are forced to contribute to the harambee. Yet, the people who caused these problems (both ODM and Kibaki) cannot produce even a single cent. If anything, they want the perpetrators to be released. That is why Kofi Annan said when he came to Kenya in January that, “hard choices” are needed. It was a cryptic message that was lost in all the political posturing.
